This is an unfortunate example of
second malignancy arising as a consequence of the treatment of the first one.
This is an angiosarcoma that arose in the area of the previous cancer surgery,
which was followed by irradiation.

Throughout this region you will see
malignant endothelial cells, some aggregated into vascular structures. RBCs
are within the vascular slits, and elsewhere they have been leaked into the
surrounding tissue space. |
