Even though it seems our patient has only one remaining stone, it (or they) could be trouble in the future. It looks like his gallbladder is going to have to come out.

Here are some fairly outrageous examples of this condition:

Today, gallbladder surgery is much less of an ordeal than it was in the past. Laproscopic surgery has made this much more tolerable. Here's an example of laproscopic cholecystectomy.
