Well, the news isn't good.
  • The lesion is most likely due to a viral infection.
    • We could check it, but it's probably immaterial now.
  • The initial infection could have been years ago.
  • It's almost a certainty that her husband is infected.
  • Her kids would not be infected.
  • As for the malignancy, it's at least superficially invasive.
  • Abdominal hysterectomy and lymph node dissection is the treatment at this stage.
  • Depending on the stage of the cancer, further treatment may be indicated.
