    • Uric acid is the end point of purine metabolism
    • Plasma levels >7mg/dL 
    • 7mg/dL is the point of saturation at bodily pH and temperature.
  • Gout comes in several forms
    • Acute arthritis

    • Age: over 30 as a rule.
