 Ambulatory management of early HIV disease.
  • Complete history and physical; follow-up each 6 months.
  • CBC and absolute CD4+ cell count, repeat every 3-6 mo.
  • Baseline syphilis serology, liver functions, Toxoplasmosis and CMV antibody, Chest X-Ray.
  • Counseling, refer for significant psychiatric and social problems.
  • Pneumococcal vaccine
  • Yearly influenza vaccine.
