Here we see a very cellular tumor
arising from the dura matter. There are no
psammoma bodies such as we saw in slide

Here we see a swarming effect or 'school of fish' pattern to the neoplastic cells. There is a blood vessel to the right of the image. Note that there are no, or very few mitotic figures. This was a benign lesion, as most meningiomas are. Basically, this a glorified fibroma. |
