    Note the wavy nature of the follicular wall with tall and hyperactive epithelium. The scalloping (little bubbles) at the edge of the cells. This alteration indicates the marked degree of activity as the follicular cell digests the colloid to release the thyroid hormone. This change is throughout this tissue. The little box indicates where the adjacent picture came from. Be sure to compare with the normal section.
