Everything points to rheumatoid arthritis.
- History and physical
- Morning stiffness of hands.
- Small joints of hands
and wrists, especially M-P joints.
- Relapsing course.
- Malaise, ease of fatigue.
- Swollen and endurated
tissue around the M-P joints
- Lab and X-Ray
- Highly suggestive X-Ray
of M-P joints
- Low grade normocytic,
normochromic anemia.
- Mild, nonspecific elevation
of WBC count
- Elevated total protein,
but slightly decreased albumin (says there is an elevation of gamma globulin
fraction).
- Elevated ESR
- Elevated rheumatoid factor.
