A quick physical exam reveals
  • A 3 - 4 cm mass on the left side of her neck
    • rubbery-hard
    • non-tender
    • freely movable
    • no redness or obvious signs of infection
  • Several smaller lymph nodes are present posterior to the larger mass. None are tender and all are freely movable.
  • No salivary gland enlargement or tenderness.
  • Thyroid is not enlarged.
  • Mild tonsilar enlargement.
  • No obvious skin lesions.
