The clusters of dysplastic
cells are fairly numerous although you will need to search for them. You will
see many normal squamous epithelial cells with small, point-like, central
nuclei. The dysplastic cells have a large nucleus with irregular nuclear
borders and irregular nuclear clumping. See this slide with the virtual microscope. |
