Basaloid cells in groups and
clusters.

Very characteristic palisading
or "picket fence" arrangement at margins of the groups of malignant cells.

These cells generally lack the
degree of nuclear atypia seen in a malignant melanoma.

Basal cell carcinomas locally
invade and spread radially, but don't metastasize via blood or lymph.
