Mr. Martin seems to be in no acute distress and appears his stated age of 48.
  • Blood pressure is 128/80 mmHg.
  • Pulse is 88 and regular.
  • Respirations are 20 and without evidence of labor.
  • Temperature is 101.8 F.
Basic physical findings:
  • HEENT (head, eyes ears, nose and throat) are unremarkable.
  • Lung fields are clear to auscultation.
  • Heart sounds are normal, there are no murmurs or third heart sounds. PMI is in the mid clavicular line.
  • Abdominal exam reveals no organomegaly.
  • Mild lymphadenopathy is noted in the right inguinal area.
  • Two red macular lesions are noted on the right leg. The largest is 6 cm in greatest dimension.
  • No localizing neurological signs, reflexes are appropriate.
