• Biopsy proven squamous cell carcinoma.
• Tumor is very near the carina.
• This is almost certainly primary lung neoplasm and not one that spread here from somewhere else.

• He may have Horner's syndrome, suggesting possible sympathetic ganglia involvement.
• His chest X-Ray is suspicious for mediastinal involvement.
• His labs suggest liver and/or bone involvement.

More information is needed to determine if surgery is for him.
