    Slide 218: Cerebral cortex with metastatic cancer 
     
    It shouldn’t be difficult to find the tumor. Even so, look at all the tissue.

    See this slide with the virtual microscope.

    Note the inflammatory infiltrate at the margins of the tumor. As for the tumor, there are several possibilities for it’s origin. There is kind of a squamous quality to the cells, raising the possibility of lung. On occasion breast can even look like this. It’s likely not renal cell, melanoma or testicular.
