    Slide 197: Follicular lymphoma
    In this slide, the nodularity is pretty easy to see in this scan of the tissue. You will lose the ability to make this observation as you go progressively higher powers.

    Lots of lymphocytes. Note the angulation of the nuclear membranes and irregular nuclear clumping of the DNA. At this power is hard to see the follicular or nodular pattern. This follicular appearance tells a good bit about the cell of origin of this malignancy. Obviously, the tumor has arisen from a cell within the lymphoid follicle, and although malignant, it still remembers it roots.
