Slide 107: Pulmonary artery with atherosclerosis

This is an uncommon slide
as you might guess. Atherosclerosis is not often seen in the pulmonary
circulation because the lung arterial system is such a low pressure circuit.
The features of atherosclerosis are just as you would see in the systemic
arterial circulation. Mitral stenosis and left to right shunts will lead
to this condition.
