This virtual DUCTUS (VAS) DEFERENS slide shows two complete cross sections of the ductus
deferens. One is left and one is right. This tissue was donated from an
elective sterilization (i.e. a vasectomy). |

The ductus (or vas) deferens has a
very thick wall of smooth muscle and is lined with pseudostratified columnar epithelium.
