This is pretty much necrotic
fat with inflammation. Look in the areas with a little more color
to see the inflammatory action.

I'll agree, this slide
is not too exciting. You should see the areas of fat necrosis and some
liquifactive changes. There will be a scattering of acute inflammatory
cells. That's pretty much it. |
