First, a few important points.
  • Laboratory tests and X-Rays are luxuries you're not likely to have.
  • Diagnoses are going to be made by history and physical.
  • You're Kenyan counterpart will almost certainly be better at making diagnoses than you. Be humble and learn from them.
  • HIV disease is a constant factor, but people are loath to speak of AIDS or admit they have it. Be careful.
