Wrap up

Hard to imagine the  month has gone by so quickly. I hope you've found this time productive. Here are a few of the things I hope you will take a way from the experience.

  • An appreciation of  varied learning styles.
  • The value of TBL and PBL in a balanced medical education curriculum.
  • Hopefully you've improved your TBL and PBL exercise authoring skills
  • Sharpened your skills of critically review and analyzing published works and data regarding educational research.
  • Developed an appreciation for the scholarship of teaching and learning.
  • I hope that you now have an idea of the kind of educational research anyone can do.

Lastly, back to the question posed at the beginning of the month:

  • Is teaching and learning the same thing?

Please let me know if there ways to improve this elective. You can email me at: rlodgeri@indiana.edu

Best wishes and please keep in touch. I'm counting on you to help me now.
