Here you will see large
bands of scar tissue throughout the liver, and this feature is the hallmark
of post necrotic cirrhosis. There is profound disruption of the expected lobular
architecture, and some inflammatory cells should still be seen. But
again, the vascular derangement will play havoc in this situation. What does
the term "bile duct duplication" really refer to
