  • Edema
  • Lots of protein loss.
    • Hypoalbuminemia
  • Broad casts are probably composed of  congealed protein lost through the glomerular basement membrane. 
  • Epithelial cell casts indicate some toxicity to tubular cells. 
    • This can happen with overwhelming protein loss.
  • There is no blood seen.
  • Urine is relatively dilute.
  • Her creatinine is pretty bad.
  • As it turns out, her creatinine clearance is only 12 ml/min.
